Detailed Itinerary:
Night 1 - Wednesday: Hanoi – Laocai train station
VietnamSapaTrekking’s car will pick you up at your hotel and transfer to Hanoi train station for the night train to Lao Cai station. Sleep on the train soft sleeper with A/C 4 berth cabin.
Day 1 - Thurday: Lung Khau Nhin Thursday Market (B, L, D)
Guide picks you up at Lao Cai Railway Station in the early morning. After having breakfast we go to the Lung Khau Nhin Thursday Market by a van or car. It takes us 2 hours to get there.
This is a small market but very colourful one in a remote mountainous area where the Flower H’mong mainly gathers to exchange their homemade products. You can not see many tourists visiting this Market. After the market we can visit a Flower H’mong village on the way back to Sapa.Overnight in hotel.
Day 2 - Friday: Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van - Sapa - Lao Cai (B, L, D)
After having breakfast in a hotel we embark on a lovely trek that will take us along buffalo paths and trails and through several hill tribe villages.
Lao Chai & Ta Van, home to Black H'mong, and Dzay people. This is an absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people you can meet. Once on the valley floor you can really appreciate the wonderful scenery that surrounds you. The walls of the valley are covered with multi-layered rice terraced fields and scattered villages. Return to Sapa and Lao Cai railway station by car (AC). VietnamSapaTrekking's guide sees you off there and takes you on the train. Overnight on the train.
Day 3 - Saturday: Hanoi Arrive
Arrive at Hanoi from Sapa early morning, private car pick up from train station to your hotel. Tour ends VietnamSapaTrekking can arrange additional customized trips for you if the above itinerary does not match your expectations. |
